Dr. Faran Khan is a distinguished clinical nutritionist and researcher with a strong academic background. His expertise spans maternal and child nutrition, clinical nutrition, fortification, policy making and public health. He has previous experience of different UN agencies (WHO, UNICEF, WFP, USAID), Professionally, Dr. Faran serves as a Lecturer at UMT and clinical Dietitian at Punjab Institute of Cardiology (placed by UMT). Dr. Faran’s research contributions are extensive, with numerous publications in reputed journals. He has presented at international conferences, including ESPGHAN and Dietitians for Global Health, earning accolades like the Young Investigator Award (Glassgow,UK) & Most Innovative Research Idea Award (Paris, France). His work includes innovative studies on vitamin D fortification, malnutrition protocols, and dietary practices.
