Ms. Hafsa Tahir is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Human Nutrition and Dietetics at the School of Health Sciences.She has over 13 years of experience in teaching, clinical dietetics, and research. She is a PhD scholar in Human Nutrition and Dietetics, holds a MPhil degree in Food and Nutrition from the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, and an MSc in Food and Nutrition from the University of the Punjab. At UMT, she teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses, supervises student research, and provides nutrition counseling and diet planning services. She has previously worked as a clinical dietitian at the University Medical Center and in private hospital settings. Ms. Tahir has published more than 20 research articles in national and international journals, and has contributed in book chapters as well.Her academic interests include maternal and child nutrition, nutraceuticals, and the therapeutic role of food and plant-based products.
