I am a dedicated and passionate lecturer with over five years of teaching experience in the field of Human Nutrition and Dietetics. My academic journey and professional career have been marked by a commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and community service. I hold a Master of Science (Hons.) in Human Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, and have published several research articles and book chapters in reputable journals and publications. My research interests focus on nutritional biochemistry, functional foods, and the development of nutraceuticals for the management of chronic diseases. I am particularly interested in exploring the therapeutic potential of bioactive compounds and functional foods in disease prevention and management. My expertise extends to developing functional and nutraceutical food products for the food industry, targeting malnutrition and various micronutrient deficiencies.

  • Successfully completed Faculty Secondment Program (September, 2024) at the Punjab Food Authority's District Food Laboratory, gaining hands-on experience in advanced food analysis techniques, nutrition-focused testing methods, industry standards, and safety protocols, enhancing my expertise to bridge the gap between academia and industry while advancing research and education in nutrition science.
  • Participated in the "Faculty Development Program" organized by the Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC) at the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) from December 5-7, 2023, to enhance academic and professional skills.
