Faculty Profile

Maida Mushtaq is a dedicated Clinical Physiotherapist and academic professional with a passion for advancing healthcare through research, teaching, and patient care. With experience as a Lecturer at UMT, she has played a key role in shaping future physiotherapists while also contributing to research in areas such as low back pain, women's health, and stroke rehabilitation. She holds an MS in Neuromuscular Physical Therapy from Riphah International University and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Management and Technology (UMT), Lahore. She has four years of experience in academics and research with eleven publications. Her research is focused on musculoskeletal health (low back pain in teachers/healthcare workers), women's wellness (iron deficiency, urinary incontinence in pregnancy), stroke rehabilitation (balance training), occupational health (migraines in janitors), and education (online learning impacts).
