Introduction:
The program is designed to educate students by inculcating skills ofDental Technology practicing ethical, legal, and Evidence-based knowledge, and values. They will be able to provide fabricated dental restorations, prostheses and appliances (such as unique, individually made crowns and bridges or orthodontic appliances) to a high standard of precision.
Program Overview:
Duration of degree is 4 years 3 years are unique and distinctive frame work focus on empowering the youth to learn different techniques which stronger impact on oral health and awareness as well as to create social and economic impact. 1 years is based on skilled and hand on training which improved their clinical knowledge. Hands-on clinical practice in dental hygiene procedures under supervision. Practical training in patient care,including cleanings, scaling, and oral health education. Exposure to diverse patient
populations in clinical settings. Final year of the program often involves a capstone project and entrepreneurship training.
Eligibility Criteria:
Minimum 45% Marks in Intermediate / A-Level or equivalent (Pre-Medical) and no 3rd division in Matriculation + Minimum 45% marks in admission Test.

The mission of the BS Dental Technology program is to prepare skilled, innovative, and ethically responsible dental technologists equipped with the scientific knowledge and technical expertise required for the design, fabrication, and evaluation of dental prostheses and appliances. The program emphasizes precision, creativity, and evidence-based practice to support restorative and preventive dental care. Graduates will be capable of contributing to oral health services through laboratory excellence, inter-professional collaboration, and continuous professional development in diverse clinical and commercial dental settings.

Career Scope:
• Dental technologists may specialize in the fabrication of crowns, bridges,and other fixed prosthetic devices.
• Creating appliances like braces, aligners, and retainers.
• With advancements in digital dentistry, dental technologists work with computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) systems to design and produce dental restorations.
• Collaborating with prosthodontists to create customized prosthetic devices for patients, such as crowns, bridges, and dental implants.
• Opportunities to work in research and development, contributing to the improvement of dental materials, technologies, and manufacturing processes.
• Starting and managing a dental laboratory business, offering custom dental solutions to local dental practices.
