Objectives of the Degree Program
- To equip students with advanced statistical tools, research methodologies, and critical analysis skills for designing and conducting impactful research in nutrition science.
- To enhance understanding of advanced dietetics, nutritional deficiency disorders, and the role of nutrition in communicable and non-communicable diseases for improving individual and community health.
- To develop proficiency in nutrition policy mapping and global food and nutrition issues, enabling students to contribute to evidence-based policymaking and advocacy.
- To advance knowledge in functional foods, nutraceuticals, sports nutrition, and nutritional epidemiology, preparing students for addressing specialized nutritional challenges.
- To provide hands-on clinical internship experience and a research thesis, empowering students with practical skills and academic rigor for careers in academia, healthcare, and the nutrition industry.
