A nutritionist by profession, Dr. Afifa Tanweer has been serving in the fields of academics, research, and health care since 7+ years. She has completed her Doctorate in Food and Nutrition from Govt. College of Home Economics, University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan in 2022. Her area of research was dietary assessment tool validation. In addition to academic activities, she has an experience of handling several departmental administrative tasks. Her major roles in the current position include academic batch advisor, curriculum design and delivery, assessment planning, conduction and evaluation, research projects supervision, official documentation and departmental enhancement. She is a part of committees (groups) dealing in examination, journal publication, grants and proposal writing, and newsletter publication. She is a research track faculty member and has significant academic and research contribution as a young researcher in her field of expertise.
